The Story of ME

We're wedding photographers passionate about love, fun and style.

ME is made up of the dynamic brother and sister duo, Mischa and Elisha. We're two siblings working together as wedding photographers - as far as we know, we're the only brother-sister wedding photography team in the world. We're pretty proud of that. Not only are we seamlessly compatible business partners, we're also best friends. It's quite the accomplishment, considering we grew up on different continents and never really lived in the same city for most of our lives. Some might say, it was meant to be.

We have the same dad and different moms. Our father, Philip, always loved photography. He taught us how to shoot beautiful photographs, think creatively and how a photograph can capture the best of a moment.

Elisha grew up in Europe and Mischa grew up in Vancouver. One of the ways we kept in touch was by sharing photos. Elisha eventually moved back to Vancouver, but Mischa found himself in Toronto. Even though we lived in different cities, we were both creating our own thriving photography businesses.

Elisha worked with some of Vancouver's photography greats and developed her own successful portrait and wedding business.

Mischa worked in marketing and advertising, but ventured out with his own wedding and editorial photography business in Toronto.

When Mischa moved back to Vancouver - the magic happened. Finally Mischa and Elisha lived in the same city! We were each other's second photographer on dozens of weddings and realized we had something unique and special to offer. So, in 2010 we merged our businesses and became ME Wedding Photography.
